I ran on trail today!

Ok Ok Ok hold your cheers and applause. We are not healed yet. I went to the park. I did my .50 mile warm up walk after stretching. I then jogged ever so slowly .25 mile before settling back into another fast pace walk and then back to the .25 mile jog. I finished with a 2 mile walk.

I felt good and all my pains were body parts not associated with the back surgery. The less than responsive calf muscle was noticeable but manageable and still trying to recover. I figure the numbness I still have can be a benefit with blisters. LOL I felt great and feel great! But slow and steady I go. This will be the extent of running for now and when I repeat.

I am working with the weights, swims, bikes, walks, jogs, and stretching. Plenty of time, plenty of time.

Best thing was: I ran on trail and even sweating!

You. Are. Back! Baby! :) Just kidding, it's great to see you taking your time and doing it the correct way.

I'm amazed at how you make it look so effortless to not just take off and start running again. Great progress update!

You guys just like to sweat too much. Glad to see you out there though. Mom
